Hernán Ximénez is an actor and a filmmaker. He trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City and is a graduate of the acting program at the National Theatre School of Canada in Montréal. He has worked in numerous plays in Montréal and in his native Costa Rica, where he directed two seasons of a hit comedy TV series and toured nationally with his critically acclaimed stand-up comedy show, Upside Down. Hernán recently wrote and directed his first feature film You and Me and Tomorrow, which is in the last stages of post-production. He has also written and directed several shorts, which have been featured at numerous international festivals, including the Sao Paulo Int'l Short Film Festival, the Bogotá Film Festival, the Miami Int'l Short Film Festival and the New Orleans International Film Festival.
